  • The book must be in its original condition: unused, undamaged, and with any original packaging or accessories (if applicable).
  • Please keep the original wrapping and avoid removing any labels or bands unless the issue was present upon delivery.
  • Kindly note that our books are preloved by nature, which is part of our brand identity and mission.

3. Returns Due to Damage or Defect

If you receive a book that is damaged or not as described (e.g., missing pages, torn cover, or an unmentioned defect):

  1. Contact us at info@prelovedbooksjo.com within 24 hours of receiving your order.
  2. Please include clear photos showing the issue.
  3. Once reviewed and approved, we will guide you through the return process (we may send a courier or request you to return the item depending on your location).

4. Returns for Non-Defective Reasons

You may return a book even if it is not defective, provided it is in the same condition as received:

  • You may be responsible for return shipping costs, depending on prior agreement.
  • Once we receive and inspect the item, we will proceed with the refund.

5. Refunds

  • Refunds will be issued through the same payment method used in the original order (credit card, bank transfer, etc.).
  • Refund processing may take 3–7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned book.

6. Exchanges

If you would like to exchange a book:

  • Please specify the book you would like in exchange when submitting your request.
  • Any price difference will be adjusted accordingly (additional payment or partial refund).
